What do you think about her outlook of the war? If her son were a firefighter in 9/11 do you think she would have harrassed the city of NY if her son would have died in the line of duty there? After all what is all boils down to is he volunteered to defend his country, right?

I fully believe that she does not have all her marbles. She started out in anger and frustration at the loss of her son (which is understandable), but then I think all the publicity and press went to her head and she did anything to keep in the limelight. I feel that the loss of her son became second to 'fame'. What a terrible shame.

Study the Viet Nam war well. there you will find wisdom. Cindy is a Mother and as that she deserves a answer from Bush. Her question is simple enough but Bush and people like Bush do not understand even simple things. Her question is "why did my Son get ordered to go to Iraq?" Those that have not served like Bush, Rice and Cheney will never get it, they are all draft dodgers.
Hint, Guerrilla warfare can not be won, that's the truth. Also Democracy is not a gift to be given by the blood of our brave service men. Democracy must be won by those who want it and by those who are willing to die to have it, the Iraqis.
Another thing those that are like Rush, Rice Cheney and Bush will never get is that a "terrorist" is that because he will never stand and fight any Marine anywhere in the world, a terrorist would not even face the average American in a fight or war.
Terrorist do the dirty work behind our backs, that is what makes them a "terrorist", they are cowardly.
While your at it ragging on Cindy as a Mother go and read some about yen and yang, it's martial arts our Marines use. Also read about all the names the framers of our Constitution were called by those who hated their fight for Independence.

nicolasraage, she has been arrested for publicly making the president uncomfortable in situations that he didn't have Cheney talking in his ear.

To answer the question, the idea that the war is useless and unrelated to 9/11 is true. No one should be fighting there. If Bush wats oil, he should go there himself. If her son were a firefighter in 9/11, it would have been different. Her son would have been fighting something worthwhile. Yes, he volunteered to defend his country, but she is angry that he was killed fighting a war that killed many soldiers and was in retaliation for..... nothing.

Cindy Sheehan should be committed. She's doing all this protesting over the loss of a son who chose to die for his country. You can't get much more honorable than that. A son she didn't even raise. She split from his father and his father had custody. Now she's divorced her second husband and left another son. So I don't know what she's trying to prove by all this protesting in "honor" of the son that she abandoned. Is she suddenly feeling guilting for not be a mother to him? She needs help!!

She is a grieving mother.I admire her dedication. 9/11 required an emergency response which is quite different from the illegal invasion of Iraq ( can you say oil is the only thing there)and then staying there while people continue to die on both sides. One of the things that saddens me about my American brothers and sisters is their willingness to put on blinders when fear and /or patriotism is/are waved/stirred in them/ their faces. Part of being an American and believing in freedom is speaking out against injustice where found. Be the change. Peace be with you.

Uh, no. What it all boils down to is her son died in a war she doesn't agree with. She pays taxes that go to a war she doesn't agree with. She has freedom of speech and the right to protest. How is that harrassment? Harrassment implies lawbreaking. It isn't illegal or immoral to protest a war or any other political position.

She is a moon-bat. If her son had been an accountant and had died due to an infected paper cut, she would have found a way to blame the Bush admin, she would have picketed, she would go see Hugo Chavez, the whole deal.

She is a Payday Candy Bar-almost totally nuts.

Cindy Sheehan is an opporuntistic moron who is beyond being just another reckless liberal who cannot keep her big yap shut. The more she opens her mouth the dumber she sounds.

She does not speak for me as an American. As she claims, she speaks for all Americans regarding the war on terror. I have my own mouth and my own brain and if I feel like speaking my mind on this issue I will say it myself. I don't need a stupid blonde BIMBO speaking for me.

Lose a child......then try and understand her actions. I don't agree with everything she does but I do respect the fact that she is grieving from the loss of her child and that can have a serious life changing effect on anyone.
