When your parents say you can. I think you should be 18. there's no point in dating before when you wouldn't be getting married for a long time anyway. I'm younger than 18. I've seen the benefits in my older sisters and many others though. when you are 18 or older, you are wiser and can handle dating. That's what I think. I'm for sure not dating until I'm at least that age.

im 20 and id say 16-17 is good to DATE, and only that, dont even think about sex til your 18+. 16 seems good cause your in high school, people are fairly mature and you really know more about yourself by then, you're also young enough to learn more about dating while other people are learning too. if you start dating too young, what's the point, you cant drive anywhere or anything, and making out just seems disgusting at that young (to me at least, kids that young should NOT be makin out). if you start dating too late, you're missing out on experiences and chances to learn from mistakes. no matter what, date when you feel you're ready. i started when i was 17, i've been on only 3 dates, and only 2 2nd dates. ive been in 2 long-term relationships. that's what im comfortable with.

i am 17, i think it depends but 16 is the best age, becuse your a little older and wiser therefore you shouldnt sumbit to doing stupid stuff. It would be like your 2nd or 3rd year in high school and overall its just a good idea. When your young, you are more likely to do stuff you shouldnt be doing and just becuse your in High School doesnt make you mature. Overall your parents should be a good judgement of mature you are and they can tell you. Now if you got stuck like me with overprotective parents, then thier isnt much you can do.

18. I am older than that age. There is no good reason to date in high school. It's good to spend time with members of the opposite sex, but do so in groups, not on dates.

I think it should be 16, because then you'll be able to drive. I'm younger than that. But 16 is a good age because you should be in the middle of high school, and you've probably heard a lot of stuff, so you'll already know something. So you'll be ready.

16. I'm older. I've been a teenager, and have several younger sisters- that seems about the right age to cope with all the weird complications dating brings.

i'm 38 now , so depending on if you are in middle ---high---or college,,,,, you must be in i would guess middle school, what do your parents say? what do you think? i think you should wait untill you are maybe in 10 grade , 17, my parents didn't allow me to date in high school but my freshmen yr of school i had an extremely bad accident that kept me out of school for two yrs i was literally run over by an 18 wheel truck anyways i bet the longer you wait the better off you;ll be, cause believe it or not you need to focus on school and most times we can only live and learn the hard way and we only learn or regret it when we get much older, just wait and be patient.
