It would be cheaper to buy a new one. Their hourly rates, plus parts fees, make it unwise to attempt to repair anything other than the computer itself, and only then if you want to save the data on the computer.

No. I called them saying nothing would come up on my screen. They checked the hard drive and everything except the monitor. They finally hook up the monitor to a different computer and they told me to get a new monitor.

you can pick up a cheap monitior just about anywhere.....thrift store what ever...just make sure you plug it in first to make sure it works. Where i live they charge you to get rid of monitors and tvs. if its broken i would just get another one. 3 bucks or less at a thrift store...remember to make sure it works.

geek squad is VERY EXPENSIVE!!! if its an older model, get a new one. i think they fix monitors.
