I think that we the American people have to stand up against our government and tell them that enough is enough. I hate the fact that so much war is being started for reasons that we cant see. The people of Palestine gave Israel land and it is like the Israel people cant be satisfied with the gift from Palestine. They are greedy and want more and more. Let Palestine have their land back and put the Israelis back on the ship, make them sail the ocean for another year without knowing where to call home and see them become more humbled.

There are several problems with this.
First, Israel was attacked by her Arab neighbors twice in the space of less than 20 years after her creation in 1948 -- and this was well before any of Israel's "occupation" of "Palestinian lands."
Second, you imply that we should not support Israel because this makes Israel's enemies mad at us. That, no offense, would be a cowardly position to take.
We cannot set foreign policy based on who it might piss off. We cannot set foreign policy with appeasement and "please don't blow us up in suicide bombings!" as its guiding force.
Third, Palestine is not (and never has been) a "broker of peace."
Look at what happened after Clinton "brokered a peace deal" between Arafat and Netanyahu in the early 90s. Before the ink was even dry on the document, Arafat broke the deal and declared infitada. That's a historical fact; go look it up if you don't believe me.
The Palestinians' leadership can have peace whenever it wants. But its actions over the past 30 or so years have screamed loud and clear that it does not want peace -- it wants Israel's destruction, and nothing else.

Standing up for what you believe in is THE MOST AMERICAN thing there is! If you don't support war - say so - and support peace instead!
I too worry that any perceived Western support of Israel will only increase the hatred...
Really, the West SHOULD stay out of it - and do our best not to foment the situation in any way!

we should not support anybody other than our own people. The jews are juts wanting more Land because they are breading so fast that they are running out of land and they want to suppress the Palestinians. Our borders are being attacked and yet w does nothing real strong about. The native American has been put down, mover here & there yet we stilltreat them as 3rd class citizents AND they were here before any of us. That is terrible.

I am an American who believes the Word of God so I support Israel.....
That is not to say that Israel is never in the wrong, but I watch these things pretty closely, and it seems they are always provoked into defending themselves.

The land that Israel occupies was their original homeland and it was given back to them by the United Nations in 1948. After they were attacked by the Arab nations they occupied territory and used it as a buffer zone to protect themselves from future aggression. Spoils of war!
Get you facts straight

In order to help the victim we must also help the criminal?? Your reasoning is greatly flawed. Islam will not leave us alsone unless we become an Islamic state. And yes we need to support Israel. God gave that land to Israel ..

so what if it increases hatred by Muslims? they would hate us anyway. America supports a reasonable compromise between both sides. Why don't people like you read something outside of strongly biased pro-palestine information?

This is like asking "Is it American to like strawberries?"
One thing has nothing to do with the other.
To be a good patriot, you should recognize that you have rights here that you wouldn't else otherwise have in other countries. That's pretty much it.
Don't confuse "disagree with government" or "unique opinion" with "unAmerican".

It is very American to have your own opinion and voice it. I get so confused on this issue that I am glad there are Americans who debate both sides.
