8 glasses of course. But do not drink it all at once. Have a glass of water each hour or when you are dehydrated. If you want to lose weight by drinking water, then I recommend more water than that. Like twelve glasses and up. Drinking a glass of water would burn 25 calories.

I find it hard to drink plain water so I drink naturally flavored water
2 glasses of purified water with lemon, lime and/or orange slices
1 cup of hot water in the morning with fresh lemon and honey
1 cup of hot water at night with chamomile
