chances are it will burst in your freezer trying to freeze it. the gas that expels the cream will build up pressure as the cream thickens. if by chance it doesnt and you mange to cut the top off without the can ripping from the pressure and get it into a desk like you stated no the contents will just form a puddle of cream and water in the bottom of the drawer when thawed

RE:
Frozen can of shaving cream?
Say I freeze a can of shaving cream. Take it out of the freezer in the morning before leaving for work. Say I take a can opener and cut off the bottom of the shaving cream can. Say I take it to work and put it in a desk drawer of a co worker. When it begins to thaw will it expand and just go...

The can is under pressure and it says "don't puncture"... so take that as a warning or get a piece of metal stuck in your eye. Also it says keep at room tempature, and unless you live in Alaska, I'm sure that's going to have nasty results with that too.

I don't think it would expand because when you cut the bottom off, you released all the air pressure. I think it would just melt, but I may be wrong.

it would expand because you already opened it and it wouldn't be frozen anymore because you should you cut the bottom off an then brought it to work.

no cuz it will just melt, u need to have it mixed with air so it could "wip it up". without it goin through the nossle, it wont expand.
