Yes, there was just too big of a difference in weight. Gatti has moved up from 135 and Baldomir walks around at 185 most of the time. I know they met in the middle (147) but that's just too big of an obstacle to overcome. A good big man will usually beat a good little man. Gatti did land some clean shots but it was like bullets trying to penetrate King Kong's skin just wasn't going to work.

The Jump in weight and the fact that this seemed like one tough battle too far meant disaster for Gatti, he still seemed battlescarred from his pasting against Mayweather to me.
I dont think Baldomir gets the respect he deserves thought.

Baldomir was simply just too big for Gatti. Gatti's been into too many wars and it's time to hang up the gloves before he gets hurt/
