The new government of Iraq has asked us to stay. The families whose neighborhoods are receiving schools and other help are glad we are there.

So I definitely believe that a premature evacuation would be a BAD thing.

If one more American dies in Iraq that is one Mothers Son too many and that is wrong. We can pull out and let them run that Country. They don't need us there and they don't want us there.
No matter what we do the war in Iraq will cost working class tax payers $2 trillion over the next 10 years and in the end Iran will control Iraq. I have talked with some Iraqis there and they hate Democracy, they prefer a Islamic Republic like Iran. The civil war in Iraq will last 5 years because they7 all want control of the oil wealth. It was wrong from the start to invade Iraq and we should leave.

Of course, premature or not, what the system already accomplished is so deep down, excuse me, in ****, that it will take hundreds maybe thousands if years before the East can live peacefully with the West. We've brought on upon ourselves hate of tens of countries around the world and menace from so many people. Iraqi commoners, people like us, children, don't want the war, it's not what the mojority thinks. They do not want to fight. It's people that are exremists that do, and there is nothing that we can do about that. Instead of wasting more and more pointless lives, we could learn from our predecestors. Didn't anyone hear of Vietnam or Chechnya (w. Russia)?

I do not believe it to be premature, but yes. Going in the first place was moronic. But now that the government is in place, and they are training their own, we should draw out.

What is premature about it? The "war" is over and the dictator captured. Why are we still there????

At this point it is hard to say. It is a mess that we will be in for some time to come.
