I'm in trrouble for burning a pan. 10 points to the person that can tell me how to do it in a room full of people without no9 one nowing.

I've always used steel wool (Brillo pads or other). You may have to scrub hard, but it should come off...sort of depends on the type and quality of the pan. Good luck!

Josh my dear -- by the grammar above, I am guessing that you are way tooooooo young to even touch a pan!! Don't touch until you get a little older.

If you have already burnt it - admit it and pay your dues.

Try Scouring it with baking soda and a little bit of water to make a paste.

USe a spoon to scrape most of it. Rub it intensely and it will tak a minute. a sponge will take off the rest

soaking it with bleach works well. but its not something you should do often to the same pan, it will damage it
