This is how it works....

If you're trying to create an mp3 CD or just a data CD, then you can store up to 700 MB of mp3s to a 700MB CD. If on average, each of your mp3 files are 7 MB each, then you can store up to 100 mp3s onto that 700MB CD....

If you're trying to create a audio CD. Then the most you can probably store is a little below or a little above 20, depending on the lenght of each track.. For example, if each song you're trying to burn is 3.5 minutes long, then you can store up to about 23 songs.

its not really the size of the data, its the length of the music files.
eg since if the 700mb of files is less than 80mins of music then its fine, if its not then u need to leave a few files out.

If you have 700 mb of songs to put onto a CD, you can burn the CD as a data CD (instead of a normal audio CD). It will burn the mp3 files straight onto the disk. And you will be able to play the cd in computers, but not in most cd players.
