the doctor's office should have those answers as far as any procedures such as refraining from eating, not taking prescription drugs etc the day before the procedure. as far as clothing, wear something comfortable as you will be in recovery for a while afterwards and will want to be comfortable.

i am a nurse, and therefore dont really preach one way or another about having or not having abortions. i think it is everyones personal choice and everyone has reasons why they do or dont have them. however, you just need to make sure the decision you are making is right for you and that you are absolutely sure about the decision youre making. its a big decision - alot of women have regrets afterwards for years and years, especially if they have any difficulty conceiving later on in life when they are ready to start a family. you need to make sure that mentally, you can handle the procedure, because it is emotionally as well as physically taxing. the day of the procedure, counsellors will be available to you and they WILL speak to you before the procedure to ask you what your reasons are for doing it and to make sure you are emotionally prepared. just make sure you are making the right decision and not one you will regret later.

This is a question that the clinic you are going to go to should be able to answer. Generally speaking, there's nothing you need to do the day before, although if you are having anything beyond local anesthetic (which is like what the dentist gives you) you may not be allowed to eat from the night before until after the procedure. This is just to prevent nausea from the anesthetic.

The clinic should be able to tell you what to wear and what to expect. Like any gynecological procedure, you'll want something loose and soft. Make sure that someone you love, goes with you to drive you home.

Please think, consider, and weigh all your options before making this decision. Once this procedure is done it can never be undone and regrets can last a lifetime.

ASK THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE. ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO DO THAT THOUGH? YOU BETTER THINK LONG AND HARD ABOUT THAT ONE.
