Person one is a person who allows the horror in Congo to continue by doing nothing. He knows that in Congo daily more than a 1000 children die of hunger and war, but he still sits in his chair and watches sport. He prays for his wife and kids to have a nice life, he hates taxes and charity. He loves church, and he accepted Jesus as his saviour.

Person 2 is a person that used the Lord's name in vain. He says things like "Goddammit, i'm gonna help those kids in Congo now" . And he acts upon his words. He is angry at God and Jesus for allowing the horror in Congo to happen, and he refuses to be saved by them.

Who will end up in Hell?
In my book it's person 1, i'm not sure what your book is saying.

Person 1 is a sheep. He thinks that he is safe in the lords hand, he thinks that he is going straight to heaven for being a good sheep and never stepping outside of his very small penn (religion).
Person 1 would never do a thing to help anyone outside his own church (penn). He donates a little of his earnings to his own church and only god knows what happens to that money, but it makes person 1 feel good to do it, and it re-inforces his belief that he is leading a good life and doing his godly duty. Person 1 IS GOING TO HELL!

Person 2 is a free thinker who uses the free will that God gave him to make the choices that matter in his life. Person one KNOWS that he can help if he breaks a few rules, and that the help will far outweigh the few curse words that he throws in gods direction for letting it all happen. God is a Big Boy, I'm sure he knows how to take a little verbal abuse now and then. Person 2 will do what makes him feel right inside, and he will go to heaven for it because the only true faith is to one's self.

If you cannot live up to your own beliefs and have faith in yourself that you are doing the right things in your life, then you are nothing but a sheep. Being told when to eat and sleep and having your wool sheered from your back by the church. God gave free will so that we could use it. It was not given so that we could ignore it and be led blindly along by a preacher who's only goal in any church is to collect the money plate.

Your saying person 1 is going to hell for allowing something to go on somewhere where he can't control, however the second person is going there to help but using the lord's name in vain....i still think that it would be the second person that would go to hell based on that. The first person is doing all the bible says he is suppose to do. The second person no matter how helpful, is still using the names lord in vain. You can't expect everyone to jump across country to help, only do what he can. Hating taxes or charities shouldn't hurt him because you never know what people are actually doing with the money. Look at the government now!

Its very important to be as kind as possible to one another, because we never know what someone else's burden is. I don't worry about either Heaven or Hell;I just try to do the best I can while I'm still here.Whoever or whatever created us is not as limited and unimaginative in his/her/its thinking and understanding as we humans are, so I really don't fear being consigned to any eternal fire. The Creator has L-O-N-G range vision, and doesn't sweat the small stuff like cussing.Caring and demonstrating care; yes, I believe this is important to the Creator... if anything is..because helping others and self can sustain life. And after all, that's what the Big Eye in the Sky is all about.....creating and sustaining all our lives until its time for us to go.

I'd say neither one of the them. Everyone is different, and help out when and where they can. God has a plan for each and everyone of us, we just have to learn what it is were supposed to do.

Person one, raises his family, he goes to church and praises the Lord every day, thanking him, for all he has given him. He probably help out in his community,

Person two, though angry, helps people who are less fortunate then him, though he believes in God, he is angry. God understands he is angry, but God had a plan, that he would use to man, to help the people. So in a way, through this man, God is helping those people.

The soul that "ends up" in hell, separated from God, is the non believer. The person who never accepted Jesus as his Savior will be separated from God eternally.

Well, I think you know my answer by now. The bodies of both will decompose at approximately the same rate.

The trick is convincing people that, despite that, there is a real reason to emulate Person 2 instead of Person 1.

no.. i desire that upon no human. Jesus spoke of Hell. SO, enable's assume this is actual for this question. What human is so evil to deserve such torment? "the wages of sin is demise" Romans. perchance, Hell is for the devil and his minion, no longer mere people? demise, mere drowsing demise for quite evil human sinners? additionally a thought: loved Pope John Paul II “‘Heaven,’ is neither an abstraction nor a actual place in the clouds, yet a residing and private relationship with the Holy Trinity. extra effectual to think of of hell,’ he defined the subsequent week, ‘as extra suitable than a actual place, with the aid of fact the state of people who freely and actually separate themselves from God, the source of all existence and excitement.’ “The pope’s discourse meditated extra his tendency in the direction of philosophical abstraction than new Catholic ‘discovery.’ Catholic coaching does not deny that hell could be a geographical spot the place God will banish sinners yet considers that concept in basic terms a seen help in line with scant biblical references. this thought is almost blasphemous to basic Christians!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All those who do not accept Jesus as their savior.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
