Chocolate peanut butter brownies with melted chocolate and peanut butter.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 square melted chocolate (1 ounce)
1/4 cup milk
PREPARATION:
Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. In mixing bowl, beat butter, sugar and egg, then stir in peanut butter and melted chocolate. Gradually stir in flour mixture alternately with the milk.
Bake in a greased and floured 8-inch square pan at 375° oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
Cut into squares.

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BROWNIES
1 c. creamy peanut butter
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar minus 1 tbsp.
1/2 c. melted butter
2 sqs. unsweetened chocolate
3/4 c. minus 1 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla
Blend together the peanut butter, sugar, and 1 beaten egg. Press the mixture with fingers into a 9 inch square baking pan. Beat the remaining 2 eggs slightly and beat in the sugar. Add the butter and chocolate, combine thoroughly. Stir in the flour, salt, and vanilla. Pour the batter over the peanut butter layer. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until a wooden pick comes out clean. The edges of the brownies will pull away from the pan slightly when done. Cool in pan. Cut into 16 or 32 brownies.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownies 1/4 cup butter, room temperature 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter 1 cup brown sugar 2 large eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/3 cup all pupose flour 1/3 cup cocoa powder 1/4 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1 cup chocolate chips Preheat oven to 350F and line a 9×9-in square pan with aluminum foil. Lightly grease the foil with cooking spray. In a large bowl, cream together butter and peanut butter until smooth, then beat in sugar until light and fluffy. Add in eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla. In a small bowl, sift together cocoa, flour, salt and baking powder. Mix in to peanut butter mixture at a low speed, stopping when just combined. Stir in chocolate chips and scrape batter into pan, spreading into an even layer. Bake for 26-29 minutes, until set. Edges should feel slightly firm and the center should not look wet or jiggly. Cool on a wire rack and lit brownies out with the foil when ready to slice. Makes 16 brownies.
