When I was 17 I moved out of my fathers home to be with someone that I thought I loved (I am sure I did at some point) and lost everything. I got my own apt that I soon lost without any money to pay rent. I got pregnant within 2 weeks and then I went wild. When I had my child I was homeless living with anyone that would take me and my child in. Then when my child was 1 and a half I met a man that changed my life. I was partying every night and who ever would watch my daughter I left her with. My husband taught me how to be a mother a woman and an honorable person. I always say that he and my daughter saved my life because if it wasnt for the two of them I dont know where I would be. I want to be a good person for them. I dont want to party anymore. I want to become someone who my daughter is proud of. She is the reason that I am still alive today. Twice in my life I was lost and both times god brought someone in my life that taught me and lead me. One in the form of a baby and the other in the form of a great man. now he has brought my father back into my life and believe me that is no easy feat. I know that god put all this in motion and I am claiming all blessing that are to come.

Wow, what hasn't He done for me is more the question!
While I am not going to thump the Bible, I can let you know that He literally saved my life when I was 17, got me out of partying when I was in over my head- and quite frankly didn't want to live anymore, helped me become a good mother, given me 4 healthy, incredibly bright children ( I am high risk in pregnancy), got me out of a bad marriage that was bound to kill me (that was one of my wonderful decisions- to be with a man who beats women) with my kids intact, when I have been flat broke, somehow I always had enough money for rent and food for my kids and myself and the list goes on.
The thing to realize, we make the bad choices- not Him. For every bad choice I have made, there have been some consequences, but those consquences have been small compared to what really should have happened and the only way to explain things is God's mercy on me and I can honestly say that He has protected me and my children from more than I could ever list on this web page.
Maybe you should talk to your pastor about God or someone that you feel close to. Finding the right church (which means a church that makes you feel at home in) will mean the world to you as well.

When ever I mentally give up, he sends me courage. When ever I doubt, he sends me proof. When ever I hate, he sends me love. When ever I sin, he sends me forgiveness. God is a constant being in my life. As far as one exceptional testimony, I don't have any. God sends me answers, and I feel his presents around me, daily. My life has been complicated by many obstacles. But every obstacle God and I went thru, there has been a very important reason behind it. I don't always know the reason at first, sometimes it may take awhile, but the reason will surface and I totally understand why its happened. I sometimes walk around confused, and as if someone has literally taken me by the hand , lead me to places or people that I would of never gone to, and answers will begin emerging. I feel God all thru me when this happens. I believe my calling in life has been living life (good and bad things) and sharing my experiences thru the eyes of someone that knows what it feels like and what other's are actually going thru. God has blessed me with a mass amount of empathey. And with out God in my life, I would have none. When I was very young, I use to pray to be a tool for God, and I honestly believe he took me up on it. Its been a long hard road, and knowing now, what it would of taken to of gotten here, I am sure I would of renigged. But I am here, and I am glad to do what ever I can.

My testimony about God is that He saved my soul. He offers me new grace and mercies everyday. He charges His angels to protect me. He offers forgiveness when I confess my sins. He has given me activity of my limbs. He promises never to leave me alone. He said in His word that His grace is sufficient for me. He promises to supply my needs according to His riches in glory. He said in His word that I can cast all of my cares on Him because He cares for me. He sent His only son to die on the cross for me so that I can have a right relationship with God.
Hallelujah. I could go on and on.
