Oh, honey I am sorry. My youngest son was born with pneumonia and developed asthma and infantile eczema all before he was 3 months old. The doctor had me try everything he could think of. None of which was good to use on a tiny sickly baby for long. He had it head to toe-itchy, bloody, oozing etc.
My mother read about using vitamin E oil and aloe vera gel. I used the oil in his bath water and rubbed the gel all over his body after. It was a little sticky, but soaked in. IT WORKED!
Almost 19 years later and he has very few problems. When he gets a dry itchy spot he just rubs a little vitamin E oil on it and in a few days it is gone.
Good luck!

My daughter suffered greatly from this for the first 8 years of her life and whereas she doesn't get the severe skin breaking episodes that she once did, she does still suffer particularly during seasonal changes.
The best prescribed medication we have found is Elidel as it is non steroidal which prevents the thinning and discoloration of her skin that cortisone products seemed to leave her with.
The other thing that we found to be effective and completely natural is Oatmeal baths (look for Aveeno brand), this not only left her skin soft but it was very soothing!
Good luck

Apply, apply, apply!! Slap the emollient cream on as often as you can. lavender and chamomile oils are good for healing. Ezcema is usually closely related to stress!! Have an honest look at any emotions that you're not dealing with.... a toughie I know, but the rash is a symptom and you need to discover the root cause. Homeopathy is great if you can find a good homeopath!!

take vitamin E, use some sort of Shea Butter lotion, or Eucerin lotion works the best. I have had excema all my life and at different ages different things helped. the chlorine in swimming pools seemed to help mine in the summer. and it sounds weird but for a while the only thing that worked was body cream from bath and body works (it had avocado oil in it). Make sure you are keeping yourself hydrated with plenty of water every day, that makes a difference also.

Try tar soap to bathe. Also neem oil on the spots. Wear cotton only. Use soap powder to wash your clothes, not detergent laundry powders. Keep cool, if possible, and stay out of the sun. Cool water baths. AND are you allergic to a food? It's possible. Try to notice if any food aggravates the rash.

My son has eczema really bad, I use Nivea Lotion on him.
There are extra things that you can do to help like not using drying soaps, or lotions with fragrances...
email at smcneil40@hotmail.com so I can give you more tips and you can explain more about what is going on.
