What should I eat, what shouldn't I eat? Is my diet pretty much back to normal now?

I would try for something "soft." A big, thick steak may be out of the question.

If you like fish, you could order that plus mashed potatoes and applesauce.

It will depend upon how sore your jaw is and, if your stitches are out. You don't want some food getting caught and causing an infection.

Milk shakes for drinks..mmmmm !

It should be fine as long as there is no abnormal bleeding already. Also, just make sure that you take your syringe that they give you to clean out the holes in your mouth, with you so you can rinse afterwards. As long as you use good dental hygeine after you eat you should be fine. But I wouldnt recommend eating anything too tough. Stick with softer foods that require less chewing like, pastas, and soups.

ive had mine removed and you should be very careful eating for about 2 weeks if the stitches come out or you cause trauma to the area it wont be fun to go back...keep eating very soft food and stay away from anything hard.....you can go out to dinner just be sure to eat something that wont cause any trouble....

Other than the obvious "no hard foods", I think you can answer that better than us... Do they still hurt? Do they look like they are healing well?
