I've never heard of anything like that from anyone who has had an epidural. I would call your doctor's office immediately.

Well the headaches could be a sign from the epidural, as well as the dizziness. But mine went away before I came home from the hospital. The back pain is something i never experienced. I had three kids and never had that. I think you should call the hospital and talk to a nurse or call your doctor and ask him if it is normal to experience this being that it is already 4 days later. Good luck with this and congrats on the new baby.

I agree with the previous answerer..You NEED to call your doctor!
Epidurals can have a headache side effect and the pain in your legs sounds similar to sciatica...but, be safe! Call your doctor. You do not want to take the risk of an infection

NO THAT IS NOT NORMALLY Contact a doctor now. When you receive an epideral there is a slight chance that the small hole in your spinal cord will not heal correctly and the fluid in your spinal cord can leak out. CONTACT A DOCTOR NOW.

I had an epidral adn I didn't have this - the only side effect I had was I got the chills, but that stopped the same day. Check in with your doctor - something could have happened during the delivery, etc.

the head aches are generally normal, but they wear off after a day or so... i'd check it your doctor.
My disks are screwed up and there is no way in hell theyre poking needles in my back. a few hours of intense pain is nothing compared to a life time of never ending back pain. ick.
I'd tell your doctor.

Call your doctor. It usually happens when the epidural leaks. It causes headaches and other pain and can cause temporary paralysis.

It is epidural related. Speak to your doctor. didn't he/she have you watch the epidural risks video before choosing to have one? That thing freaked me out, I chose to have both of my kids naturally with no drugs.
