I mean, I have a 4.17 GPA (sometimes its higher, sometimes lower, but always at least a 4.0)...Anyways, I always thought that grades are based on mostly hard work and partially intelligence. =/ So I don't really consider myself smart...

That is not a bad IQ. It is considered above average. That is about the 84th percentile, which is pretty good.

IQ Scores & Ratings
What is a good IQ score? What is a high IQ score? What is a low IQ score? These are common questions, particularly after someone finds out their score from an IQ test.
Lewis Terman (1916) developed the original notion of IQ and proposed this scale for classifying IQ scores:
Over 140 - Genius or near genius
120 - 140 - Very superior intelligence
110 - 119 - Superior intelligence
90 - 109 - Normal or average intelligence
80 - 89 - Dullness
70 - 79 - Borderline deficiency
Under 70 - Definite feeble-mindedness

116 is good
100 is average but 40 you are considered not being able to read or write. 140 is about the best you can test in a standard IQ test and 180 is "average rocket scientist" and probably a sociopath.
116 should be enough to do university depending on your interests.
Be aware though that any test is just a moment in your life and scores may vary from day to day. Also: A friend of mine did university without ever really doing 'the work' and got CumLaude. She never tested beyond 105 in an IQ-test though expected was she would score 140 or higher.

Yes, it's good.
IQ is not something to worry about. It's more important to get good grades, regardless of your IQ.
There have been criticisms that IQ tests are culturally biased, and may favor some cultures over others. For example, suppose a question used the word "brownstone." This word may be more common in New York City than in a rural area, so the rural student would be discriminated in the test. Similarly, there are words only a rural person would know.

It is definitely good. The average is 100 so you are above average. They say 1 in 4 gets an IQ score between 111 and 120.
Now what is your EQ (Emotional Quotient)? Some say that this is becoming as important or more important than the IQ.
The distinction between intelligence and knowledge in the area of cognition (i.e. IQ) is very clear, where generally, psychological research demonstrates that IQ is a reliable measure of cognitive capacity, and is stable over time. In the area of emotion (i.e. EQ) that distinction between intelligence and knowledge is murky. Current definitions of EQ are inconsistent about what it measures: some (such as Bradberry and Greaves 2005) say that EQ is dynamic, it can be learned or increased; whereas others (such as Mayer) say that EQ is stable, and cannot be increased.

To be good for what??
An IQ test is not an accurate representation of anything other than your ability to do IQ tests...
Personally, I have an IQ of 138... and I'm a freakin' idiot!
Don't worry about what numbers tell you... be yourself...

It is high enough to be good.
And see what went wrong on the IQ test. There is a bias in them.
