GET HER TO AN AVIAN VETERINARIAN IMMIDIATELY!!!!!!!!!

She could dehydrate very quickly get her to an avian veterinarian IMMIDIALELY!!!!!!!!!!!

If it's drinking a lot of water then it's going to be runny. Is the poop sticking to its vent area? If it's not, then there isn't a problem. When a bird has lose bowels you know because there is poop stuck to it's back end around the vent.
Birds hide when they are sick because in the wild if a bird shows that it's ill it will be picked off by the other flock members. When a bird actually shows that it is ill..it's towards the end of the illness and often dire.

No, do not give the bird pepto bismo That will kill it. Finches stool (poop) are soft and runny alot of the time...finches more around alot all the time so they poop, eat, and drink all the time
If you just got the bird it could just be stressed
if you are still worried take it to a vet.

I would arrange a vet appointment quickly. Small animals can get dehydrated and go downhill very quickly because of their size.

If it is really hot outside where you live, then maybe he is dehidrated..that would be my guess!
