It is considered extremely unhealthy. In fact, many of their food have more fat and calories than some of the food at McDonald's and Burger King. Remember, they deep fry their chicken and the rest of their food has mountains of butter or other fats cooked in.

I think KFC is a dangerous restaurant as far as the nutrition of their food goes. People think it's better for you because it's like a home-cooked meal, but, in fact, it is just as bad.

Go to KFC's website for specific nutrition facts.

No not at all. Any fried food is very unhealthy. At least McDonalds and Burger King offer options like salads or a plain fish/chicken sandwich. KFC might be as unhealthy or more so if you were going to go eat a Big Mac, but it also has no variety to give you a healthier option. And remember everything in moderation

DEFINE HEALTHY!!

A meal from KFC (potatoes, cole slaw, fried chicken ) is probably qual to a Big MAC and Fries in fat content, cholesteral, etc. The slaw gives a fiber and veggie serving, so you may be better off with KFC. In the end,I don;t think it matters all that much. For what it is worth, I prefer KFC

I'm fat because of a few things.
My mom and dad were fat, so genetics had a role in it.
I was raised by my grandparents though, and they tended to comfort me with food.
Food = Love
I was put on my first diet when I was about 5 years old. It was one of those 500 calorie diets, that graduated to 800 calories as I got older. I was on diet after diet.
Yeah, I kept losing the weight, but when my eating disorders kicked in, I'd always gain back the pounds and they'd bring the kids. I starved myself fat.
I've been maintaining between 375lbs, and 400lbs, for the last 10 years, so I think I'm doing something right. I just quit trying to fight it. I eat whatever I want, when I want it..and I do overindulge on occassion, but it's not the end of the world.
I am what I am...a fat girl in a big world. *giggles*

No.
No fast food is any more unhealthy than any other food choice you can make.
The "nutrition" freaks always forget one very important fact.
ALL food can make you ill or kill you!!!
Yup.
Think about it.
Any food you eat must be part of a balanced diet.
If you ate too many of the most clean carrots on the planet, you will get very sick and permanently damage your liver.
Eat too much broccolli and you're sure to get cancer.
Drink too much pure water and you can permanently damage your brain and possibly die.
Get too much Oxygen and you will die.

Nobody is forcing people to eat the wrong things and too much of anything.
Stop trying to tell responsible people what they can and cannot have, just because other's don't want to be responsible for their decisions.

what could possibly be unhealthy when a food is considered 'finger lickin good' ! the banning of fast foods, butter, whole milk and snack foods is just a conspiracy orchestrated by the health food industry, vegetable growers and our government...don't believe them.

no fast food restaurant is unhealthy
it is just the food they quick fry so it is faster to cook
then they just serve it to you with a special side of heart disease to it.

so it is unhealthy...dont waste your money on them
