When i was in Orlando my boyfriend and I ate at a restaurant at Universal Studios called The Palm. While there we tried their prime rib. This prime rib is so buttery i swear it melts in your mouth!!! It's so good you could die.

Once when I was invited to a very fancy restaurant in Zurich. For the dessert there was a long stering silver cart that they wheeled to your table (kinda shaped like a barbeque), and inside were 3 long rows. The first row was all the unique fruits, some I knew and some unfamiliar. One row below had sorbet and ice creams made from that fruit above it, and a row below that had fresh sauce made from that fruit. The idea was you could pick the sorbet you wanted, the ice cream you wanted, which fresh fruit you wanted on the side and what kind of sauce you wanted on it. I wondered what the circle of bright white fruit pods in the wooden box were. Turned out I was looking at a mangosteen. I chose the fresh mangosteens (which were not imported to the US, so i had never tasted them) and choose mangosteen sorbet and pomegranate ice cream - and no sauce (couldn't think fast enough) and this was one of the best things I have ever tasted. It is hard to describe what mangosteens taste like. I immediately understood that this was truely a "tropical" fruit, but much more delicate in the way that lychee or great pear is. It was sweet but had that tropical tart fruit flavor, at once delicate and yet immediately recognizable. Sensing its aroma was a big part of tasting it. I thought it tasted sorta like many fruits but i could not settle on one without another overtaking it. It remember thinking this is what a cloud or pure rain would taste like if it were a fruit.
