Vim was, is, I'm not sure if they still sell it. a kitchen scourer. It was a white powder with a blue tint to it which also had a strong chemical spell and you used it for cleaning your bath, toilet, sink, etc. etc..
You would scatter the powder around the bath, it came with its own shaker in the lid a bit like an enlarge salt shaker, add a little water and using a cloth clean your bath. In the toilet you shake it inside the bowl and either leave over night or clean using your toilet brush. As said I don't know if they still make it but I remember my nan using it

It is a bathroom cleaning/scouring product. I didn't think you could get it anymore, we used to have it at home (UK) as kids, it is disgusting in texture, all granulated. Just the thought of it makes me feel the same way as fingernails on a blackboard!
