Ya, I've seen the 'why are there still apes' argument several times. It's a good example of fundie logic (or lack thereof). It's also a good example of why the fundies should not bother meddling with science. They just don't understand that simple-minded rhetoric does not qualify as scientific evidence. 'Progessive' Christians are much more open-minded and, interesting enough, don't use literal interpretations of the Bible to refute scientific facts.

Well that guy obviously doesn't quite understand the concept of evolution. And why do Christians always try to distort the facts about these kind of people? I mean they say that he didn't believe in evolution but he firmly supported it all through his life. Sure he did question it a little bit because he was Christian and it went against his beliefs. But he also knew that it was the best explanation for what was going on and he knew that it was true. Christians have also done this with Einstein. Einstein himself said that he was pretty much an atheist and got extremely mad when Christians tried to say that he was Christian. I would think that if a religion had to change their beliefs and meddle with the facts all the time people would see this and be automatically turned off. But this hasn't been the case and I guess this proves that a majority of the world's population is just plain stupid.

All religions are in simple terms concept structures, yet technological know-how is in line with information which would be proved and is undertaking to experimentation that provides a similar outcomes no rely the place finished or via whom. faith is a manner wherein the behaviour and innovations of communities of folk could be controlled/stimulated, while technological know-how is the potential via which they are in a position to be objectively recommended on the subject of the international around them. you're real once you question the sanity of people who propagate and have faith arrant nonsense such as a results of fact the fact on the subject of the Earth being in elementary terms 6000 years previous - yet guess from which united states of america that piece of stupid theory got here?! there's a asserting that 'technological know-how is the only faith that works even once you do not have faith'. think of roughly it - it is so real.

Hello -
Here is a quick thought to the above.
Genesis 1:26-28 says : "God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."
God gace us dominion over the earth. The only species that could destroy the earth, would be another speaking spirit. We have been created in God's image and given dominion.
The last time I checked, an Ape could not destroy the earth. Only we humans can, so obviously we are not descended or related to an Ape.
I did enjoy your question, hope you enjoy my reply.
Kindest Regards,
Darren Meade

How can they accept something like adam and eve were made out of dust and ribs, yet the evidence of evolution remains unbelievable?

Same way as you non-believers believe evolution and whatever you want to believe!...With born again believers it's by choice & evidence from GOD, and with non-believers in GOD who believe in Evolution, it's by choice & man-made versions!...that should answer your question!.....simple as that!.......

Basically, it is not real, because they say it is not. If it is not in the bible, or threatens the power of the church, they call it evil.
