Well, the truth is that I never owned any slaves either, but because I'm white I have to carry the burden of all white people who did when dealing with the issues of racism with fanatical black ideologues.
Not all members of the Nazi party killed Jews. Some were just clerks and cooks and minor functionaries. Does that relieve them of responsibility?
You may not have done anything bad, but the fact that it is so hard to get any temperate Muslim leaders to come out against the radical Muslim fascists make other Muslims, if not complicit, at least suspect. If I know of a murder and do not tell the police I will be put in jail just as quickly as the person that pulled the trigger. With only six degrees of separation you probably know someone who knows someone etc... who could do something!
Using Saddam as an example is ludicrous as he killed more Muslims than any other person in history. He is only Muslim when it suits him.
Realize that all nations have racism, Sunnis hate Shiites, the moment the white power structure left South Africa the white land owners were killed and their land "reclaimed". Ask the Iranians to allow Israel to be a part of the Middle East. Go to France and see the black Muslim slums. Go to Jamaica and see how venerated the light skinned people are over the dark skinned. I get tired of people thinking racism is only in the good ol' USA. We have the most equitable laws and people in the world.
Get off of your little poor me pity party and do something for the good of all Muslims. Start a real uprising against the evil in the cradle of your religion and perhaps we will believe you. We don't hate you; we simply don't have any reason to trust you.

Ok here is my honest answer to you on this one.
There are some very good people that are Muslim, there are some very bad people that are Muslim. We can not tell who is who. Like the old saying and I am not just jibbing here. They all look alike.
Reason is, the Muslim people will not stand up and say no to the extremist. The cover for them time and time again. So who do we believe.
Only way out I see is if the good Muslims stand up and tell the extremist to kiss off. (get lost in other words). YOu are the only ones that can change this prospective we have not us. you got to stick together and tell them NOOOOO!
I believe the good Muslims are going to have to pick one or the other soon.
Cause we just can not tell the good ones from the bad ones as of today.
Now this is not flaming this is just my opinion.

People in the US don't like anything that's different from the mainstream. It's an "I'd like you if you were more like me" mentality. Americans gave Irishmen and Italians a hard way to go when they first got here. It's no big deal now because they assimilated. Blacks get discriminated against, but if you ask people they usually only have a problem with the black people who "look" or "act" black instead of the ones who are more like them. Now it's Muslims. Most people can't spot a Muslim dressed like an American. People walking around in traditional attire get Americans all riled up because they look different.

Well I do not hate Muslims. What I don't like are terrorists and religious fanatics, suicide bombers and the like, whether they be Muslim, Christian or Jew. I understand that the majority of Muslims abhor violence and denounce terrorism, just as the majority of other religious groups abhor violence.
Unfortunately, a lot of people just clump "terrorism" and "Muslim" together as they do not know any better. What is seriously needed at this time is education so that people can understand that terrorists comprise only a small faction of these religious groups.

Because people stereo type. When poeple are angry they need someone to blame. Just like blacks and whites don't get along I mean many of us will never experience the things we read about yet people think you still owe them and it goes either way. Hate is natural feeling and we cannot change that we can only make a difference in the individual lifes we touch. You just have to know that you will not judge as you do not want to be judged. I am hispanic and see the racsim everyday and still dont get it. Maybe one day it will stop but I doubt it.

I have had the privilege of teaching and working with many Muslims over the years. I like and respect them all; I no more juedge all Mulsims by Saddam Hussein than I judge all Christians by George Bush.
I'm sorry you are exposed to prejudice; I wish you weren't. Remember that these people are scared and ignorant, and you may be the only Mulsim they ever get to know.

We don't hate you- we love you. All terrorist attacks against us since 1988 have been from Muslims. Islam was founded ou hate and murder. Read the earliest writing from Medina. Muslims are told to kill the Jew and the Christian. That is what we hate-nothing else. Can all Muslims working together stop the terrorist attacks on innocent people.
God Bless you,

Sadly, most of humanity fears what it does not know or understand. Racism has been an ugly part of our background from the beginning of time. We also are guilty of sterotyping and because of the many issues we have throughout the world because of the color of one's skin, or their religion, we are all afraid of each other. Isn't it sad? It's now the way our Creator, where you call Him Abba, Father, God, Holy One, etc., meant for us to live. But, even as our Lord (I am protestant faith) walked the earth, discrimination was everywhere, name calling, fear of one religion over another. The fear was enough to have Christ crucified. I think racism of any kind, discrimination of any kind is wrong. In a perfect world....... but there is no such thing and even I have to be cautious sometime in my own thoughts. That's the truth.

There are many good people in the world of all creeds, religions and anything else that may separate us into groups. Some people will always have reasons to hate. Why? Who knows? Understanding is the key and perhaps one day we may actually be able to live in peace.

I don't hate Muslims, but then again I am not one of those people to who insists on steriotyping everyone. Not all people are the same, and some people are just to ignorant to realize that, and for this reason i am sorry that these people even exist.
