Whatever floats your boat, man. If you believe in it and you think Mohammed is the way to Allah, then go for it.

Well, its a good thing that you want to convert to Islam. But you're question still implicates that ure skeptical about the religion. Allah has given every human that he hasnt given any other living thing. Free will. I am a Muslim and Islam tells every human to go and understand any other religion and even I would encourage you to go and do the same and if you have already done that and chosen Islam to be your religion, then i guess you have made your choice. Like one of the people said, you can go and visit the local Mosque in your area and find out more about how you can convert.
We as Muslims are believers in Jesus and His coming back. We believe in the Bible and all the Apostles, Angels etc mentioned in the Holy Book that goes for the Torah too, the Jewish Holy Book. Matter of fact there is mention of Prophet Muhammed in the Bible itself, thats when Jesus said that there will be another messenger who will come after Jesus, preaching the right religion of God. Christanity is very similar to Islam, very identical and we as Muslims believe in the Bible. It was afterall a book sent from the Heavens, in The Almighty's own words.
The converting process is very simple. You just have to recite.. "There is no God but Allah & Muhammed (Peace Be Upon Him) is His chosen Messenger... and that's it. But the catch lies that you have to say in what you believe i.e. you have to be a believer in your heart, only then you have truly converted to Islam. Reciting just words will not do.
Good luck converting to Islam Brother.

You said it correctly - the time is now...do not wait or hesitate. It is a simple decision if you look at the core... Judaism says that Jews are the Chosen people above all others and they reject Jesus the son of Mary. Christians say that Jesus is God part of a Trinity - and yet the first commandment says, "The Creator Is The Only True God.." - did Jesus create the universe or did God? Finally, Islam says that throughout history all the prophets were themselves Muslims and their message was corrupted by those after them... but that man should believe in ONE God alone without partners and that men are judged not by their status, clan, people, wealth, or colors - but by the righteousness in their hearts. The problems people have with Islam come from what they say "MUSLIMS DO" but one must always separate a religion from the actions of its people - dont look at what people who call themselves 'muslims' do but what Islam actually SAYS. Islam is the only religion that is still pure and the way of all the Prophets throughout time... Moses, David, Jesus, Muhammad. Your choice is clear just have the strength to do what you know is right no matter what the people say

First, so there is not a bad communication here. I am a pagan by which i mean I believe in a religeon older than the greek gods, as old as humanity itself. Nature.
That being said. I find of all major religeons Islam is by far the single best organized reliegon. 1 its rules are simple to live by. 2. It stresses Peace above all else. 3. the Bulk of the worshippers are Excellent people, humble muslims and wonderful family members. It is a society that is hurt right now, those few who twist the reliegon in their pursuit of power are an embarass ment to most muslims.
I reccommend finding the nearest Mosque ( islamic temple) and asking to talk with their cleric / religeous leader.
Bless you and may you find pease with Allah.
This is but one God and his name is Allah and mohammed is his prophet.

Islam is not a newer version of Christianity. Islam is a totally different religion that teaches a totally different version of all of the history of the bible. Islam teaches that Jesus was just a prophet, and that he was not crucified on the cross. They teach that Allah made a spirit to appear to look like Jesus and be crucified.
But Christianity teaches that Jesus did die on the cross, and that his death was the payment for our sins. This is what Jesus himself taught!
