Deep down some Christians are just barely smart enough to know it is all nonsense, so they get a little ashamed that they don't have the emotional strength and intellectual honesty to admit this and dump the religious baggage.

No one should be ashamed to show their faith, no matter what religion. We have become so confused lately with the government trying to seperate religion and politics that it has made people ashamed of what they believe. I think it is refreshing to see people who are proud to be christians. I think it makes others uncomfortable because they are ashamed of their lifestyle or their lack of faith and try to make christians feel out of place or out-dated. Well, I am proud to be a christian and am sorry for those who choose not to follow God's word.

I completely accept people who are christians. I listen to them constantly speak about their beliefs and teachings. Funny thing is.........they don't do the same in return.

why can't "Christians" accept it that just because people don't believe in the same thing you do, it doesn't mean they're going to hell.... Did you ever think that judging people is un-Christian?

Because Christians follow everyone, and tell them that they are wrong, and will suffer for not agreeing with them.

Same reason some people don't accept it when others are gay.
