What are some 'typically Canadian' things?

Question

Often, people seem to think of Canada as some less populated 51st state of the USA, with the same culture, but I know different. I have been trying to think of cultural things which are unique to Canada. In the same way say that the Superbowl is typically American, or cockney rhyming slang is unique to Britain. But what about that great country to the north of the USA - Canada?

14) and the mountme's. canadas verision of a police force. Unfortunately they are not very technologically advanced.

Having long hair like the Hanson brothers. (True story. I'm in Mass, spring 2005, and I see kids from a tour w/ really long hair. I think, "Are they Canadian"...I see their tour bus outside, and they were!)

I love the idea of Canada. When i think of Canada I think of cold winters, but I think of the beautiful lights in the sky, wonderful fishing, yummy, and clean air. My father used to go north to go fishing. I loved hearing stories of going to Canada over a nice fish fry. I had a friend who was from Canada and he and his wife never drove a car they walked or rode bikes. I see everything being much cleaner than the US. It is the second largest country in terms of land area and one of the least populated countries, which means more untouched land. It's gotta be beautiful.

And if we are talking about sports then I gotta say I think of Hockey!!!
