yes, they look great if they are done right...just make sure the layers aren't too short compared the the length of your hair or cut too thick into your hair...i had great layers last summer and then i got a bad haircut and now my layers are messed up and are going to take forever to grow out and fix! make sure you go to a stylist you trust with your hair!

Some layers along the sides of your face may look nice, don't do layers in the back though!
