Im a Canadian Citizen , but I spent almost my whole life in the US...I have read that you need to have lived in a provence for 12 months + inorder to get financial aid..Is this true? Will I be able to get full financial for school? Where can I get more info???

Oh..I actually want to go back to Canada..I want to leave the us to go to canada and finish my studies

You may have to move first and work for a year before applying for financial aid for education.

I am sure the provinces probably differ in regards to their rules for this. I would contact the Higher Education ministry for the province you want to move to and ask them what the rules and guidelines are, and if there are any exceptions.

Different states have differnet rules. In California, where I live, the important thing is the INTENT to stay for at least one year + one day in order to get financial aid. Hope this helps!
