Longacres in renton was the place to race i use to love going there for the ponies...At least at longacres there not a speed or closers...A little of everything came in ....And it was very enjoyable the seating over by the top of the lane.....YES i do miss longacres and i HATE emerald downs...

there were some awesome horses at Longacres in the day. Polynesian Flyer, Captain Condo, Leading Hour, Run Roni Run (partial to him!) - names that don't make the national news. Captain was one of the gutsiest geldings I've ever seen in a race...he just didn't quit. I left WA shortly after Lga closed - uncertain times and rising costs in the area and not much work with TBs to be had couldn't afford to stay. But miss it.
