Men pay more for child support than alamony......independent women dont even want alamony so what's wrong with you guys????

Why did you have the child without his approval ? Did he want a child or did you foolishly want a doll to play with. Men don't have a silly biological clock to make a doll. Children cost money and foolish women don't think about the long term big picture. Leave us alone until we request you.

Not every guy is this way. Some men are more mature and ready for a lifetime committment while there are some who just are not ready for a relationship. Also, it depends upon how they see a marriage. If they see it as a beautiful event where two best friends are together for life and who look forward to being able to wake up each morning with a beautiful woman next to them every morning, then they are ready for marriage, especially when they feel they have found the right person to be with. And that marriage works best when they find and focus on the things that make that woman the happiest she has ever been.

You have just fallen for the wrong type of guy. I would say better choices the next time. Make sure there is a ring on the finger before you have a baby ;)

I have been with a man for 12 years 2 kids. I don't think I want a lot by getting married but he doesn't want to marry me because he thinks things between us are going to change to bad, I guess..Some people are strange like that ..I don't want to more on but you got to think 12 years and no ring he has to go right......write back

well, i wish i was good enough for this. i got just the oppisite. i had the ring. i had the kids. i had a horrible marriage for 4 years. it took me a year of asking him to get a divorce. then it took me a year of crying and anti depressants to get over him. then it took 6 months to get my kids back. and now that bastard owes me over 5k in child support.
i would have much rather just started out as a single mother then go through all that crap he put me through.

That is simple. To get married you have to plan things.
No doubt the children are unplanned.
It takes planning to buy a car, paint your house, or other stuff. Having a child takes only one thought -> “Wow she is hot”.

because all they want is a booty call and they dont care if you get pregnant at least they dont have to take care of the kids you do so why does that bother them

You might not be the type of woman that he can live with. It's his financial mistake that he was ever with you. Boy will he pay for that mistake.
