the thing is i have known this guy for years, we are online friends. after a long hiatus, he's back online and he said that he always like talking to me and are interested in me. we have talked over the phone before. he does sound sincere and he's the sweetest, kindest person i've ever met online. the last time i spoke to him, he said that he will send me pictures via snail mail. i should wait and then decide whether this relationship gonna work or not, right?

it depends. are you just that vain that you are worried about a persons looks? what if that is your soul mate and you pass him by because he may not be the finest guy around. Or what if you do and he is fine. I have met some nice looking people and their attitude sucks but give it time just because he is interested doesn't mean that you have to hook up. Just chill. If it is meant to be it will happen.

No, I would not if I were you. I have seen many cases in which people lie about their age. If age isn't a big deal to you then it's your choice. Make sure you trust the person you could be calling/meeting up with.

well are you going to meet this person physically? and how much do looks matter to you? if your not planning to have a physical relationship they what does it matter what the person looks like? you may ask again and be more specific
