one of their passport is expired. can she still travel with them to trinidad since they all reside here and then have it renewed when she gets here. her husband has to sign for the renewal but they split, she doesn't know where he is, and it was never stated that she has sole custody of the kids in court. can someone please help!!!!!!!!! thanks

She should go to the court of guardianship while she is in the US and let them know what has happen. Seeing the father is out of the pic and there is no whereabouts know of him they might not need his signature.

I think she can take their pasport to the passport agency along with their Birth Certificate And two photograph, their is also a fee
a passport can also renued by mail, Yes they can travel to Trinidad, they can also get their passport renued by the US consulate in Trinidad, but is best to do it in the United State

how old are the kids....if they are American citizen then they can just renew their passport in America, can get an American passport..if they are citizen, it has nothing to do with the parent, they have American right, they can get a passport from their Govt...as for the mom, if shes on vacation and not illegal, she can guide her sons when getting their passports..

I don't think you can go anywhere with an expired passport. Once it's expired, it's no lomger valid.
