Like some many other things in life, there are times when a dark beer is the best fit. I personally am a dark beer man, but when it's as hot as it was this last week, you can only drink wheat beer. Dark beer is best in the fall when you've got a good steak in front of you, or in winter when you've got a nice log burning in the fire place.

I will ONLY drink dark beers. If it looks like a glass of pee, I refuse to put it into my mouth and so should you. I will pass on the Guinness, though, as I find that it and most Irish style stouts are too watery. I prefer a heavy Oatmeal Stout, such as Samuel Smith's.
And to the 12 year old that is freaking out, this is the alcohol category! What do you mean ask something that applies to more people?

Yes, I love dark beers. I refuse to drink a light beer, blech! Yuengling is my favorite, I also like Iron City, Guiness and sometimes Sam Adams (when I am out of town).

Yes! But not all the time. I have to be in the mood. Very often I will have a light beer before or after.

Mmmmmmm! Guinness, Beamish, Murphy's, Terrapin oatmeal stout, Grant's Perfect porter (no longer being made)....I could go on forever, especially because I can't drink beer right now due to an abcess tooth (not good for a bacterial infection). Woe is me!!!

I'll drink Guinness on occasion, but I don't drink much beer. Patron tequila is the way to go.

Yes, especially Yuengling's Black & Tan, an affordable alternative to Guiness that I can get at Wal*Mart.
