Why bash the Minutemen?

It's a sad state of affairs when "militia groups" like the Minutemen need to pick up the slack of an incompetent government.

People are so worried about illegal immigrants, that they don't realize that most of the members of the "minutemen" are sons/daughters of illegal immigrants (mostly Mexican). They are trying so hard to be white and the only way they can do this (or so they think), is by bashing their own brothers and sisters, who are trying to do the same thing their parents did. Most of them look more Mexican than the people crossing the border. Even one of the leaders of the Minutemen confessed that her father used to illegally bring people from Mexico into the US. WTF is wrong with these people????. And to those who keep repeating the same old thing: "illegals don't pay taxes....", "Illegals are taking jobs away from whites..." blah, blah, blah. It's getting so old. First of all, illegals can't get welfare because you need a SS#for that. Second, it has been proven many times that most illegals who do work with a fake SS#, do file taxes, but do not get money back (obviously), and the government keeps that money. And third, how are illegals taking jobs away from whites?? They do the worst possible jobs!!!!

I really don't see the Minutemen, or anybody else for that matter, complaining about the other illegal immigrants that come into this country, specially from Asia and Europe. Why don't the minutemen go guard the ports, and check the ships for illegal Koreans or Chinese??? This is ridiculous, just because they were born here, and are first/second generation American, they think that they have the right to decide who comes into this country. I don't think that killing people who are trying to get a better life is the answer. These people don't deserve to die, especially in the hands of their own brothers and sisters.

Each time the Minutemen gather at the border it's in the press all across America, groups like la raza don't want the negative publicity or the attention the minutemen bring about the border crisis. Seems groups like la raza want to select who can do what and who shouldn't do what..is this the equality la raza speaks so fondly of ??

The minutemen are trying to do a very difficult job.They do NOT deserve criticism for being patriotic and serving THEIR country as an AMERICAN AND A CIVILIAN AT THAT!

All the Pro-ILLEGALS should go to Mexico and help the poor babies fix their country and STAY THE HELL OUT OF OURS!

They are doing a fantastic job, and pro illegals are ticked because they are helping to do something that our government appears to be incapable of doing. With the Minutemen, you get more for less - something our government doesn't understand.
