Hi. I am an undocumented worker in Washingtoin State. I have no criminal record and am a decent hard worker just trying to make a living but I do not have a drivers license. Can anyone give any friendly advice on if it is possible to get a drivers license in Washington state so I can buy a car and get proper insurance?

Go back to your country of origin and apply there. It is quite easy when you are a legal citizen.

You cant because you ALREADY BROOKE THE LAW! Did you not hear your self you when you said you are an illegal alien??? DUH!!!!
You are not a hard worker and you are not a decent human b/c you are breaking the law everyday you are here.
Advice: Go back to your country, do your paperwork, stand in line. Then, when its your turn, you can come here and get a licence, a car, and pay for insurance AND TAXES!

Some of these answers are ridicules.. Im sure they are not even Native Americans, which are the ones to whom this country really belongs ....They are the true AMERICANS..Anywho, I think you should apply for a Social Security #.This # is given for things such as, health insurance, liscences,etc..But not for a legal authorization to work..Why don't you have someone call for you, if you are a bit apprehended...Have someone call the dnv( I think) and ask them a few questions

Maybe someone will give you a correct answer. Have you called the drivers license bureau? Ask them-it won't hurt you to call. I did work with some people before who did have licenses(and they didn't steal them) so it is not impossible
Best I can do.

Respectfully I must tell you that even if you don't have a criminal record, you are a criminal. You are not following the laws of the land you currently inhabit. You need to go immediately to immigration services and see what your options are...now!
