Radical Islam does not pertain to the whole Muslim community. It actually only pertains to a small amount. Radical Islam thinks that Alah tels them that all infidels must die. They are made up of the fringe extremists in your religious community.

Islam is not radical and no whole muslim ccommunity is not radical. Only the few misguided ones are hard headed. These people think islam is the only religion in this world and they want everybody to follow islam. No regards for others faith and belief. These few want to terrorize world community and want to rule the world according to their own interpretation of islam.

In Pakistan the students study in Madharasas. Radical Islam begins there. English is a foreign language, at Pakisttan they can't even properly write Urdu. That is why Gen. Musharaf ordered to dismantle the Madharasas and re-established them as terorrist camps to train Jihadis and others at government sponsered terrorist activities.

They are talking about radical factions of Islam, not that the entirety of Islam is radical. It is a slang term that has developed in the news. We here in the US know that most who follow Islam are not radical or terrorists. I hope that expains it.

This is a very intelligent question and it is unusual because most Muslims do not seek the advise of kufir. I can only conclude you are more intelligent and open minded than most of your peers. I will answer your question with truth and accuracy.
Most infidels in America and Europe whether they are theists or atheists believe that Islam is a religion of peace and most Muslims who appear to be peaceful are called moderate. The Muslims who commit acts of terror are regarded as radical.
The problem is that Most people in the West have little knowledge or understanding of Islam and huge numbers of Muslims also have little knowledge or understanding of Islam.
Large numbers of Muslims depending on their country have great knowledge of Islam but they do not really understand it because they are taught from a young age what to think they are not taught how to think.
I have a reasonable knowledge of Islam but a very great understanding of it so here are the facts.
It is very misleading to say that Islam is a religion of peace because it is demonstrably not peaceful and it is not just a religion it is a political totalitarian ideology.
When A Muslim or an idiot like my Prime Minister (UK) or the traitor Obama (USA) say Islam is a religion of peace in a sense they are telling the truth.
When an anti theist atheist like myself say Islam is not a religion of peace I am also telling the truth so why the contradiction?
Islam is a dualistic religion and there are two distinct parts to the Quran, the part written in Mecca and the part written in Medina. The verses from Mecca are peaceful and religious and the verses written in Medina are nasty, violent and political.
When people say Islam is a religion of peace they are quoting the verses from Mecca and when people say that Islam is a violent ideology they are quoting the verses from Medina. Mohamed was asked by his companions why Mohamed contradicted himself and Mohamed replied that when two verses contradict each other the later verses are stronger and they abrogate the earlier verses. This means that the terrorists who are called radical by the west are not radical at all they are proper Muslims because they are doing what Mohamed himself done.
The Muslims who the west call moderate are not proper Muslims at all they are liars and there are two different types. There are so called Muslims who really are peaceful and they are lying to themselves because to be a Muslim you must emulate the so called perfect example of Mohamed and Mohamed was NOT peaceful therefore, peaceful Muslims are not Muslims at all just liars.
The other type of Muslims who really are violent are also liars because they practice taqiyya.
You can not understand Islam unless you understand the principle of abrogation and the difference between the verses from Mecca and the verses from Medina. You also can not understand Islam unless you understand Allah and Mohamed because Allah and Mohamed ARE Islam. Most Muslims get their understanding from their Imams who interpretate Quran for them and they do it wrong therefore an Imam contrary to popular belief is NOT An authorative source of understanding.
I say Allah does not exist but suppose I am wrong and I assume he does exist, Allah would still be no good as a direct source of understanding because no man can have a two way conversation with Allah.
There is only one way to understand Islam and that is to understand Mohamed.
How can you understand Mohamed? Easy, learn the Medina part of the Quran, the Hadiths of Bukari because all Muslim scholars agree that Bukari narrates the most authentic Hadiths and understand the life of Mohamed as shown in his biography. Those three sources of knowledge together IS true Islam.
If you study these things with an open and honest mind you will stop being a Muslim and either become Atheist or Christian because Islam is truly evil and destructive and false and the proof of what I say is in these holy books.

Radical Islam refers to the small percentage of the Muslim population that uses terrorism in an attempt to influence world politics, and then says that they do this for their religion (which they claim to be Islam). I would like to think that most people understand that "Muslim" is not synonymous with "terrorist".
