I am here to learn and share. That's all. My religion doesn't believe in proselytizing so that has no bearing on why I am here.

When I was a Christian, no one ever asked me the tough questions. I never had to defend my faith.
After a brief conversation with a fellow Christian of a different demonination, I realized there might be some problems with what I believed. I had never questioned myself before.
After some research, a lot of reading, and thought, it became alarmingly obvious my beliefs were grounded in quicksand. I became an agnostic, then an atheist, in a matter of months. I have never been happier or more content (or more moral) since that happened.
The reason why I am here is to ask those questions. Point out errors in logic. Educate people about facts and suppositions that their clergy or parents won't (or don't know).
In short, I am asking the questions that I wish somebody would have asked me earlier in my life.

I am here to learn about many different religions, and feel that this forum (for lack of a better term) gives me an opportunity to encounter a diverse population from around the world.
I also enjoy engaging in debate (not quarreling) the major and subtle points of a religion, but only when I feel confident in my understanding.
I do not enjoy when people are hostile and express anger and hatred towards another (regardless of their faith or lack thereof) because of a difference of belief or opinion.
I am part of a movement that believes that it is essential, as citizens of a global village, that we engage in inter-faith discussion and dialogue. And I, fortunately, have encountered many who agree and who are willing to share their knowledge and beliefs.
Peace.

We came here searching for our own answers motivated by curiosity, loneliness or simply because of our naivety...Can we find and spiritual experience on the Internet? I don´t think so cause the answers is not on the screen but in our hands, mind and spirits..The Internet and technology development are just the media...Unfortunately is rare to find enough mature people in the net as it is the world to talk about our inner world without sounding like and ***-hole or a nuts...The Truth is Out there...

I'm here because I like discussing religion. (Debating sometimes, too.) Most importantly I think I am here to attempt to educate people about my spiritual path, and debunk some of the stereotypes that are out there that have really given people on the same path as me a really bad name. I don't worship Satan, I don't sacrifice live (or dead) animals or children, I'm not evil.

I'm here for learning an discussion. I would never try to sway someone to my beliefs. Each person makes their own decision where they stand on religion and I respect that.

I'm here because I've spent the last 20 years of my life thinking and living religion. I don't want to convert anyone, but I think I have some insights to share. Atheists need to know that there are thoughtful, open-minded theists, and that theism is intellectually defensible. Theists need to know that they have to do some deep thinking in order to understand where atheists are coming from. Everyone needs to know that many traditional ideas about God are absurd and untenable, and that other visions of God are possible. Theists who want their belief to give them authority to condemn and oppress need to be countered. Exclusivists and fundamentalists need to be exposed -- to others and themselves -- as ultimately irrational and irresponsible. Lots to be done...

I'm here to learn. To keep an open mnd and decrease my own ignorance as much as possible, all the while seeing how people act and treat one another in such a straight forward environment as this.

I thought it was for people to be able to ask questions and have them answered by some one(s) who can give them a good respond and learn. unfortunately people come here and mock others. But I know there are others who search for the same answers to others questions.

Shivam Soul is Almighty itself and in any actual variety will proceed to be the purest. Its equivalent to a comfortable tube on your kitchen one hundred Watts and on your mattress room one hundred watts. the single interior of kitchen is seems to have a lot less gentle yet you may under no circumstances say it isn't effective or has a lot less Watts., what you want to do is wipe it!! So Shivam each and every soul in any variety is in ongoing adventure in route of ULTIMATUM and is going to attain Him faster or later. It relies upon upon us we use infra rays as Radar, Sonar or microwave. Infra rays are infra. when we take start after Samadhi of 9 months, we are purest like mattress room gentle and then pollution, dirt, steam of kitchen hides that effective gentle, that changed into the reason perchance even historic Kings use to deliver their newborn to Guru ashram to bloom properly and reamin organic. however too sturdy a question. might want to Shiva showers His love and reward on you.
