only reason i would even let that female have contact with me is because i wanna be with her. actually if i do make myself available to her that is enough for me to say i want you to her. yea it would be diffucult but if i wouldn't go for it i would become a what if person and i will never do that again especially when i did all of that to make the long distant thing work. i wouldn't know if it would be sex or making love but it would be found out when i meet her and be around her. yea girls maybe closer to be with but it might be worth the miles to find that person who completes me. for me i will travel the world someday so why not go to a place that something maybe there for me sooner.

I went on holiday to Florida and met a Scottish girl working there. Had a 3 week whirlwind romance and went back home to England. Stayed in touch, which 10 years ago meant snail mail and phone! After 6 months she went back to Scotland and then moved in with me. 10 years on our marriage is stronger than ever and we have two gorgeous girls.
To put this into perspective I was a publican in London. Single, I've been told good looking and never without female companionship. For 8 months I waited for my wife (to be) to come home and have never regretted it.
Sex and love are like athletes. Sex is a sprinter but love is a marathon runner.
Never looked back.

I faced this situation some years ago half way though my last years at university. Having had a lucky few years in love up until then, I got bored of short term relationships and ( as ever) bumped into a different sort of woman in a pub. Anyway one thing lead to another and we went out for a year before her course finished and she went back home, abroad. On my second visit to her, I asked her to marry me. Why, because she was lovely, calm and friendly; not one of the competitive types who I notice around these days.

I've had a long distance relationship for six months and when we made plans of being together we were together for another 4 months and then it just did not work.when we broke up I wished that we could have just kept on with the long distance relationship. You must be careful,if it is about sex then it is useless and if it is about love then maybe it can work.

Easy! Women are a hard breed... Women want equality - but on their terms only.. That makes it hard to find decent women who want a "Partnership" - This leads to long distance relationships with women from different cultures who value Partnerships. Love and sex come into this - but people who actually visit the girl are "Usually" more commited (But not always)

i would have thought if girls closer to home were equal or appeared better then this girl, yet they stay in contact then it could be love or something special causing them to stay in touch.

that could be love
and a guy might love someone enough to do that.
people who love each other have to live together in the end though.
