I believe they should. the world is being engulfed in crime, and in the US they are simply not doing enough. What do you think?

too many doogooders shouting what about there human rights?
Well what about mine when i get raped, burgled, beaten and robbed, living in fear while crimals hide behind a law that was ment to defend me not them.
Anybody who's say's criminals have human rights should get robbed, raped beaten and forced to live the life of a working class person.

I do think caning should be used here in the USA for bad behavior.
BUT....for stealing, either cut off one hand or hang from a tree and leave a note detailing the crime, to remind passerbys what could happen if they decide to steal.
It is apparent that jail and prisons don't work, since it is a fact that 60% return to jail after incarceration.

I am with John.
Our system is definately not working.
Capitol punishment for repeat offenders is one way of doing things.
When you get 3 hots and a cot besides cable tv,why not be a career criminal.
Cut off a hand or 2 and then they can not commit crimes.
