This quiz arises due to a write-up I read in internet that the center chapter of the Bible is Psalm 118. But when I personally check it myself. the centre chater falls on psalm 117 with Revelation inclusive. Hence the quiz for me to know the correct thing.

Of course Revelations is a chapter in this bible! It probably depends on what version of the christian bible you are using though in order to determine whichis true. Anyway I would use the King James version in order to verify this claim. I would think that Psalm 117 is the middle chapter (using the King James version) because there are 594 chapters before and after it. If I had to guess I would say you are right! Good Job.

Paslm 118 is the center when you count chapters (there are x number of chapters before it and the same number after). Going by page number can throw you WAY off, because different Bibles have notes, pictures, etc. that can change the 'center'.

And no, Revelation is not a CHAPTER of the Bible, it is a BOOK of the Bible with 22 chapters.

Revelations is considered a chapter or book in the Bible. Psalm 117 is pretty close to 118, my guess as to the centre of the Bible is that it may be based on the version of the Bible used, i.e. a more "condensed" verison vs a "wordier" version.

Revelation is a book of the Bible. The center chapter of the Bible is Pslam 117, with 594 chapters before it, and 594 chapters after it. While number of words varies with translations, the number of chapters and verses remain the same.

Yes, Revelations is considered a book of the Bible...a very important one at that. Along with Daniel, they are both very important regarding end-times prophecy. The internet isn't a very good place to get info. unless you know the source of the information on it, if the person/place is qualified to state what they are stating, when it was written, and when it was last updated, etc. If you decide to get info. from an internet website, make sure all of those are included. This site, of course, is a forum and thus are getting "personal opinions" from different unknown people...so take what you will from any of ours' advice.

Well, it depends on which version of the Bible you are using. Is it the King James version or the Catholic version? Some versions of the Bible have books which are not in other versions. Revelation is located at the end of the Bible, but it was not the last book in the Bible originally.

Christians are properly conscious that it changed into written by using many various fingers. however, counting on the Christian in question they could have different techniques about who wrote the e book. some beleive that the Bible is God's own word as he worked by ability of those fingers that wrote it and inspired them, some believe that it changed into written by using human beings that experienced God's works first hand. some might want to take all of it thoroughly actually even as others will veiw maximum folk as being a metaphor from cases when we were a lot less smart as a species and needed issues to be damaged down in a lot less confusing to appreciate words. To Christians the Bible is Holy because they suspect it incorporates, a minimum of in some section, God's own techniques and words as to how the international works, what occurred in historic cases, tells you techniques to stay and what you may assume when you die. there are countless philosophical justifications for the life of God [all of which fail to electrify me in my view] and so some human beings do believe that God exists, in which case little faith is had to believe that he might want to have written, in some trend [IE by ability of prophets] countless texts. there is a few information that events interior the Bible honestly did take position, and so there is a few justification for believing parts of it, and in case you believe in God and function the Christian mentality of religion without information, then it truly is amazingly easy to work out how they can beleive the parts different religions do no longer. also, there is not any longer some thing 'only' about books. Books are techniques made genuine, and techniques are eternal and effective issues. Books have began wars, been motivations for murders and smear campaigns, were the source of secret socieities, have held the most scandalous secrets and techniques and some effective truths. Books aren't from now on to be underestimated.

May a 13 headed monkey-fish throw flaming loin-clothes into the great mud-pie of perdition after a bird brings you a number 2 for your right cheek. Then and only then may you chop off their heads for fun and profit and virgins and apple-pie! 117 ofcourse

did you compare that against if Rev is not included. If that completely changes the center, then it was just an error on your part as to where the page center is. Or maybe your word count is different, depending on the version
