First of all, know who U R and What U want.
Don't wait for someone to tell U.
Go into a relationship with a clean slate, 100% total trust, until he gives U a reason NOT to trust him.
DO NOT MAKE HIM PAY FOR FORMER MISTAKES THAT OTHER BOYFRIENDS MADE. He cannot change what happened to U in the past, so don't hold him accountable.
If U have a pattern of choosing the same kinda guys, try a new type. Who knows U just might find the love of Ur life.

I hope this helps ....
Good Luck

Understand that there will be arguments & disagreements. It means that you are two people who are different. Never try to change that. It keeps you both unique & things exciting. :)

When you do have a disagreement, never say anything that you can't take back and fight fair.

Don't bring up past issues into a fight (that really makes them mad).

If you say you have forgiven & forgotten, make sure you really have. If you've forgiven, but not forgotten--just keep it in your own heart. No need to drag it up over & over again.

Keep a sense of humor.

Have fun!!! Relationships are hard, but the benefits of them far outweigh the troubles when it's a relationship that is supposed to work! :)

Good luck!

Don't discuss the problems you're having in your relationship with your single friends even if they are your best friends. Talk to other couples in healthy relationships or a healthily married couple. Seek spiritual guidance if all else fails. Make sure that you and your mate are equally yoked before you even think about getting serious. Put off having sex if possible.

Stop looking and u'll find ur match. Don't go in expecting everything to be wonderful, every relationship takes work, and u both have to be willing to work at it and compromise. When ur comfortable, still remember what attracted u to each other, that'll keep the spark alive.

Honesty and communication. When I say communication I mean listen as well as speak. Do not smoother a man as they like their space and sometimes tend to not tell you until it is too late.
Remember, if you don't want the truth then think about the question before you ask it.
Don't get serious too quick, that tends to scare them off too !
Good luck to you :)

Communication is the key to any solid strong relationship. The problem with that is thinking that it has been achieved. My advice would be to take your time and get to know who you are dealing with. People will always reveal themselves to you in some form or fashion. When they do, it is up to us to decide if they can be of some value in our lives, or not!

Always be honest with him...and yourself. Don't cheat-if you find your eye wandering, break it off before starting a new fling. Treat him/her the way you want to be treated, and show extra attention in public(a touch, hand hold, etc.). If it feels good-DO IT!!!!
Don't fight and bicker, and always say "luv ya" before bed and leaving for work.
GOOD LUCK!

Be friends before things get serious - meaning don't get to know someone just for romance.

Consider your close friends in a romantic way... you might be delightfully suprised.

Always be honest, keep your friends, give him space, keep him guessing. When a guy thinks he has you where he wants you he gets relaxed.
