what causes abscesses on the body is there any way to prevent them?

I suffer with them mainly under the arms the groin and lower back. antibiotics do not work I have been on them since I was seventeen and am now thirty five

Try washing your whole body with Hibiclens (O T C ) and applying bacitracin to your nostrils every night as that's where staph,the bacteria, sometimes silently hang out. Hope this helps somehow.

You could be suffering from an antibiotic resistant case of staph or strep.
