Because men hate showing their vulnerable side to society. Since they are babies they are raised to be "tough and not cry". It's a pitty, because I love sensitive men. I love men who don't care about what others think and are man enough to talk about their feelings and cry when appropriate. To me, that's more manly than one who hides how he truly feels.

Because they have been groomed or raised to think that they are weak if they cry or show emotion to much, and to let someone else know that they have one up on them is not going to happen, they are still little boys at heart!

because they are taught (beginning with childhood) not to cry... to be tough... that boys/men are tough... boys/men don't cry.
pressure is put on them about other guys making fun of them, laughing at them if they cry.
pressure is put on them about not being men if they cry, not being tough if they cry.
it's sad, but true.
they aren't taught that tough men do cry... look at Jesus... he was willing to be nailed to a cross (that's a really tough-guy), yet he wept... (john 11:35).
wept: cried out loud.
women are more deeply touched by men who aren't afraid to cry every now & then... men who aren't afraid to show tenderness.
women need tenderness from guys.
unfortunately, most men do believe they're supposed to be tough-hearted.
it's so wrong to teach guys not to be tender, because tenderness is an emotion that needs to be expressed, just as much as sadness or happiness needs to be expressed.
to deny tenderness is>>> to deny having that emotion... when they were babies/toddlers, they were tender & they cried.
it's been proven that women live longer than men because they cry (it provides relief from the stress of sadness).

If you've ever exposed a weakness to a woman, you know what she can do with it. So do we.
Besides, do you really want to see a dude crying like a baby? What would you do with him? Men get dangerous when they're emotional, that's why we're taught to control ourselves.

Stupidity is the first thing that comes to mind. The other thing is that it is not macho to show any types of feelings if you are a man.
Sadly this is one of the reasons that women out live men.
Women show how they feel.

I think they are afraid to show other people that they are hurt that's why they go out and get other women so fast because they are hurt inside but that doesn't help from hurting
