No because it doesn't get food and plaque in between your teeth out. It's like washing your car with a hose and not using a sponge to scrub the dirt off.

Absolutely NOT. There is NO replacement for brushing your teeth.
You need to brush your teeth and FLOSS them also, to remove plaque and food particles from between your teeth.
The company that makes Listerine has ALREADY been scolded by the court for saying that using Listerine is a substitute for FLOSSING, which it is DEFINITELY NOT.

No, brushing and flossing are necessary for good dental hygiene and gums, to prevent one from ending up with dentures way too soon. Besides, most toothpastes have flouride, which helps prevent cavities. I'm pretty sure Listerine doesn't.

No. But this website discusses the proper way to brush and it does say that using listerine is a good tool but not in place of brushing and flossing.

If you don't have toothpaste use salt or baking soda. You really shouldn't be using Listerine at all, it contains a lot of alcohol which kills good bacteria and could lead to infections.

Your teeth need to be scrubbed clean, not just rinsed and deodorized. If not they will rot and fall outa your head!
