When Jesus died, he called to God, His Father, and said, "Abba! Unto thee I commend my spirit." "It is finished."
In verse 59, Stephen called to the LORD JESUS, receive my spirit---just as Christ had commended His spirit to God.
In verse 60, Stephen calls only to LORD - which signifies that he was calling on the Trinity---Stephen's spirit was filled with the Holy Spirit. He called to LORD, and to LORD JESUS CHRIST, and then died. He called out not only to God but to God's Son and to the Holy Spirit inside of him.

In a way. He said he could see Jesus waiting for him as he passed from this world into Heaven, implying that Jesus is God and was waiting for him to welcome him into Heaven personally.

How would we know that?? We weren't there....it's all based on hearsay from reading a book.
The only certain thing we know is that he didn't call God the following names: Larry, Curly or Moe.....because they weren't around just then.
