I had all 4 of mine removed at the same time. That was a bugger to deal with. Eat SOFT foods to begin with. Be sure to clean out the area well, I know it sounds like a pain to do, but it is worth it, believe me. You don't want food in the holes. Eat lots of jell-o or pudding. Mashed potatoes are ok. It sounds weird, and I am going to explain this the best I can: Form your tongue into a U shape, keeping the sides away from where your teeth are. Try to keep the food within the U shape of your tongue. That'll help. I hope i explained this good enough.

There shouldn't be a problem. Your wisdom teeth are at the very back of your mouth, and only used as molars, of which you have several more. I would recommend avoiding chips or other foods that tend to be sharp, because, if you get one on that particlar spot, it will hurt.

When my ex had his two bottom wisdom teeth moved, I think all he ate was milkshakes, juice and that was it. I think the same would apply with the top two. Some people's mouth swells up and you get the chipmunk cheeks, or not. I went to school with a chick, who I think had her top ones pulled, she ate yogurt ice-cream, milkshakes, basically thinks things that don't involve you to chew, but I'm sure you dentist will tell you what and what not to eat.

i don't think I'd eat anything substantial for the first day or two......

try shakes yogurt applesauce pudding mashed potato's etc........
no straws...........

follow your dentist's instructions and you should be just fine....... I had my upper and lower wisdom teeth removed on the same day

i did rip up a hamburger into smaller pieces a day or two later..... because i was hungry and it hurt to eat a hamburger the normal way

this sounds nasty but for the first 2 or 3 days eat baby food, not the meats or veggies but get the cherry vanilla or most any of the fruits. it fills you up and its not unhealthy.
you can eat mashed potatoes and cooled down gravey. DONT SMOKE if you are a smoker and chew sugarless gum...
that is what my dentist told me to do and I was happy for those few days.
sorry to hear you have to get them pulled or you have had them pulled. be careful, dry socket hurts like heck

Very carefully! I had all 4 of mine pulled at once and it wasn't much fun! I ate soft foods and liquids for several days. On the up side I lost like 10 pounds! ;-)

For the first 3 days you eat soft foods; ice cream, apple sauce, oatmeal, etc. After that, you can gradually introduce harder foods. Also, NEVER use a straw (you can get dry socket doing that).
