There's no reason to think that this particular armed conflict, and not all the other ones that have taken place before and are still in progress, is the sign of "the end."
Jesus is clear in the Gospels that bad things, including wars, are bound to happen -- but that, despite our tendency to think they are a sign, it's not reason to believe that "the end is nigh."
Jesus is equally clear in saying, with regard to the end of the world, that we do not know the day nor the hour -- and that it will happen at a time we least expect.

I don't think this is the beginning of Armeggedon, but I do believe that this is just another part of the puzzle.
Revelation says that the "END" is an end to the rule of mankind on the Earth. Man has been in charge for almost 6,000 years. (6 is the number of man and666 is the devine number of mankind, not the number of satan).
7 is the number of God (and completion). At the end of approximately 6,000 of man, God will clean the Earth of sin, let everything and everyone be at peace for 1,000 years. After this Satan will be delt with one last time and God will rule forever.
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness; but is longsuffering to you-ward, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
2Pe 3:11 Seeing that these things are thus all to be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy living and godliness,
2Pe 3:12 looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, by reason of which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
2Pe 3:13 But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

as quickly as I pay attention people say Israel is the only democracy in the middle east, I might desire to chortle at their lack of wisdom. Israel is an exceptionally contemporary eu/American Apartheid settler undertaking occupying the country of yet another people, and saved artificially alive with the might of yankee protection stress skill. Iran is the only democracy in the middle east. Iran is seen via many between the cradles of civilization with a subculture and historic past hundreds of years previous. they have judicial, govt and legislative branches. They choose a president each and every 4 years (sound everyday?) they have a great chief it fairly is elected and oversees the judiciary. The legislative branch has 290 contributors, elected for 4-3 hundred and sixty 5 days words.

It may be the end of the Middle East as we know it...but it has nothing to do with the Bible or Revelation. For one thing, you may be surprised who ends up "winning" this conflict when its all said and done. But not the end of the world. Cockroaches always survive, so america will be fine.

I think it's a sign of the end times, especially because so many people are starting to criticize Israel, but I don't think it's going to be the last struggle before the end. The world's governments are too stable for that right now.

Folks thought that in 1973, 1967, 1948, pretty much every time those nutbars go at it over there.
I guess one of these times they got to be right.
Revelation = Just a book John wrote about the Roman Empire.

well... the main purpose of Revelation is to inspire perseverance not togive the schedule of events
I think the current situation might be setting the stage
but probably not the end and I am right in at least 10% of these sort of cases. wink!
