It's time to get him to the vet and to ask yourself why you haven't taken him already.
It may be an infection. It may be something stuck in his tooth. It could be all kinds of things, but he needs to see a vet ASAP and probably should have seen one 5 and a half months ago.

Dogs drool, for a variety of reasons, so I'm hoping you're talking about excessive salivation. As to the 'lip bleed,' injury is the likeliest answer, so you might check for any cuts or scratches on the lips and gums. If that isn't the case, see your vet! Post haste.

At that age I would bet it's an abscessed tooth. Better get him to the vet so they can pull it. I'm sure your dog is in some pain.
If neglected, the infection can go into other teeth and possibly the jaw bone.

Maybe your dog has an abscess. It is very painful and what happens is animal try to break them open to relieve the pressure and pain. Take your dog to the vet, have him check out his mouth.
