California has black outs, water shortages, traffic problems, hospitals closing, school overcrowding and yet I see them still building new houses out in Riverside and San Bernadino Counties. How bad will it get before people relaize that there is a point that we need to stop? Must a place drop to its knees before people see the light.

California keep on building housing because there is a shortage of housing and there are more people than housing. California is the golden state has jobs, good weathers, and beautiful girls that is why people from other states go there. Unless there are no more jobs, people from everywhere would wants to go there.

Because of the high cost of living in California, people are already starting to move to Oregon, Washington, Arizona, and other states. And big business are also also moving out to more tax friendly states.

Define overcrowded. Many places are far more crowded than California is. That said, California's liberal-dominated legislature has done a piss-poor job of providing needed services. My guess it will continue to get worse until the people realize that their voting patterns are to blame. Still, much of California is doing okay...it's a big state, maybe you should get out and see more of it.

Well, when my dad lived there in the early 60's it was a great place, orange trees, mountains, snow and sun, beaches and heat,it was paradise.I guess when everyone heard about it that changed. The thing of it is, the place will be poisoned and disgusting before the people want to leave (like New Orleans and the rest of the south).

Yes, and they don't improve or build new roads to accommodate these new people.

Actually, many people are moving out of California as it has the highest debt, taxes and gasoline prioces in the country.
